Report on Academic Preparation for College
The Indiana Project on Academic Success has released a report, Academic
Preparation and College Success: Analysis of Indiana's 2000 High School Class,
on how Indiana's curriculum adjustments in the 1990s influenced the academic
future of the 2000 high school class. Analysis examined students' SAT scores,

Enrollment Study from NCES
A recently released report from NCES, Enrollment in Postsecondary Institutions,
Fall 2002 and Financial Statistics, Fiscal Year 2002, summarizes findings from
the Spring 2003 IPEDS Web-based data collection. Data were requested from more
than 6,600 postsecondary institutions participating in Title IV federal student
financial aid programs. The tables in this publication present enrollment data
for fall 2002, financial statistics for fiscal year 2002, and student financial
aid data for academic year 2001-2002. Also included are graduation rate data
for

Final Report Released from ACSFA
The Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance released a new report
titled The Student Aid Gauntlet: Making Access to College Simple and Certain.
The report provides suggestions on how to simplify the student financial aid
process for low and middle income students to increase access to college. To
